Welcome to TaskInTown.com ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by ORARO ONLINE SERVICES ("Company"). TaskInTown is an online service booking platform that connects customers ("Clients") with independent service professionals ("Taskers"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ORARO ONLINE SERVICES, the operator of TaskInTown.com, governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable rules thereunder.
To use this Platform, you must:
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a resident of India or a legally incorporated entity in India.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under applicable law.
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform.
By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide truthful information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at taskintown.com@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. TaskInTown.com will not be liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or behave in a manner that is harmful to other users or the Platform.
TaskInTown.com is a service booking platform that facilitates connections between Clients and Taskers. We do not directly provide the services listed on the Platform. TaskInTown.com acts solely as an intermediary and technology platform.
We do not guarantee:
• The availability, quality, or fitness for purpose of any service listed on the Platform.
• That Taskers are licensed, certified, or qualified for any specific profession unless explicitly stated.
• That services will be completed on time or to your satisfaction.
You acknowledge that any agreement for services is solely between the Client and the Tasker.
Payments on the Platform are processed securely through our authorised payment gateway. By making a payment, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable service fees, platform fees, taxes, and any other charges.
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. TaskInTown.com reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Any price changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.
You are responsible for any applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), TDS, or other statutory levies arising from your use of the Platform. TaskInTown.com will issue appropriate invoices or tax documents as required under Indian law.
If a payment fails or is declined, your booking will not be confirmed. TaskInTown.com is not liable for any loss arising from failed payment transactions. For assistance, please contact your bank or payment provider.
Cancellation and refund requests are subject to our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In general:
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may not be eligible for a refund.
• Refunds, if approved, will be credited to your original payment method within 5-7 business days.
• In cases of service failure or non-performance by the Tasker, please contact us within 48 hours of the scheduled service date.
TaskInTown.com reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion, taking into account the circumstances of each case.
TaskInTown.com may offer subscription plans that provide access to additional features, discounts, or priority booking. By subscribing:
• You agree to pay the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected.
• Subscriptions will automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• No refunds will be issued for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
TaskInTown.com reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue subscription plans with reasonable notice to subscribers.
Clients and Taskers may leave reviews and ratings following a completed booking. By submitting a review, you confirm that:
• Your review is based on your genuine experience.
• Your review does not contain false, defamatory, offensive, or misleading information.
• You are not affiliated with the Tasker being reviewed in a manner that could constitute a conflict of interest.
TaskInTown.com reserves the right to remove any review that violates these guidelines, is reported as fraudulent, or is found to be in breach of applicable law. We do not endorse any views expressed in reviews. Misuse of the review system, including incentivised or fabricated reviews, may result in account suspension.
You agree not to:
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Circumvent the Platform by directly soliciting or hiring Taskers outside of TaskInTown.com after an initial introduction through the Platform.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information, listings, or reviews.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse any other user, Tasker, or TaskInTown.com representative.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or another user's account.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any other malicious code.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of TaskInTown.com or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws of India, including the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Platform content without our prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TaskInTown.com and its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
• Any loss arising from the actions, omissions, or misconduct of Taskers.
• Any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to TaskInTown.com in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TaskInTown.com, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
• Your use of the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.
• Any content you post, submit, or transmit through the Platform.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Any complaint or grievance with respect to the Platform or its services may be communicated to the Grievance Officer. We will endeavour to resolve your complaint within 30 days of receipt.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
TaskInTown.com reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TaskInTown.com with respect to your use of the Platform.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. TaskInTown.com may freely assign its rights and obligations.
